We currently run a series of weekend beginner courses in beekeeping in association with Troed y Rhiw organic farm.
Come and join us for a great weekend learning about to keep bees with Sam Cooper, Sam has a wealth of knowledge to share, tending hundreds of New Quay Honey Farm hives the natural way. The course will take place at nearby Troed-y-Rhiw Farm.
Participant Liz Woods said, 'After the two day course we felt confident enough to think about setting up our own hives The course was interesting, enjoyable and a good mix of throy and hans on practice. The setting at Troed-y-Rhiw Farm was perfect. Nathan and Alicia are most hospitable and Alicia's cooking and baking is to die for. This is a weekend I would definitely recommend!'
Accommodation on the farm may be available in our holiday cottages.

Root Camp is a hands-on cookery course that offers 15-21 year olds a real knowledge of food - its sourcing, preparation and enjoyment.
Although in its infancy, I have supported Root camp giving informal talks about beekeeping and bees alongside chefs and other food producers involved
